The discovery of Ohana came about quite serendipitously for owners Dan and Debbie. Both lovers of the great outdoors and weekend escapes, they set themselves a challenge back in 2020 to always outdo each other with the next suggestion of a weekend getaway. With a shared passion for beautiful spaces and the finer things in life, they'd often find that the places they retreated to could be enhanced in some way - a sliding door here, an indoor fire place there, better linen and towels... you get the idea. So instead of continuing to search for the best place ever, they created it. Ohana became their passion project and a labour of love.

It is a space that is expertly considered, but not overly curated. Filled with plenty of local art and decor, and furniture that makes you feel right at home, Ohana offers barefoot luxury at its finest. Their enthusiasm for beautiful surrounds and love of nature extends to the great outdoors, where they have planted more than 2000 trees, plants and flowers since taking ownership, creating the perfect natural cocoon and idyllic views from every room in the cottage.
